  • Our 5-Year Branded Warranty
This Warranty is our promise to the original purchaser that, for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery, each piece of our furniture will be free from manufacturing defects in materials, workmanship or construction. If any defect does appear within the five-year Warranty period, CFI & its respective brands will take the steps described below to correct it.

Who is covered

This Limited Warranty protects only the original purchaser and applies only when you purchase the furniture for normal commercial use and not for household use.

Implied Warranties

NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXTEND BEYOND THE FIVE-YEAR TERM OF THIS WARRANTY.

Consequential or incidental damages

WE EXCLUDE AND WILL NOT PAY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. By this we mean any loss, expense, or damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. The remedies provided under this Warranty state the limit of our brands’ responsibilities.

What CFI will do

We will remedy a manufacturing defect to any of our brands’ furniture as long as we receive a notice of the defect within the five-year Warranty period (measured from the date of delivery). If a defect is detected, it is important to promptly notify us.

After notification, it may be necessary for us to arrange for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether or not a defect exits. If a defect does exist, it will be repaired. If we determine that repair is not practicable, you will be supplied with a new piece. If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, on behalf of our brands, we reserve the right to substitute acceptable alternative material to equal standard. You will not be charged for any repairs, services or for the new replacement furniture. If you paid transportation or shipping charges for the original delivery of your furniture, you will not be charged for transportation of warranted furniture to and from the designated facilities. The repair or replacement of the furniture does not extend the duration of the Warranty period nor begin a new Warranty period. As an alternative, we will issue a refund if we cannot repair the defect after a reasonable number of tries. In the event of a refund, a deduction will be made for the number of years of use taken as a percentage of the Warranty period and applied against your purchase price.

Limitations on the coverage of our five year warranty

While we believe our Limited Warranty is a fair one, there are some exclusions. Any of the following things reduce our responsibility under this Warranty:

Original Purchaser

This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the said furniture. By “original purchaser” we mean the first purchaser who takes delivery of the furniture for placement and use in a commercial business location.

Improper Care and Use

Our furniture requires routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your furniture like the fine product it is. Keep the furniture clean, dusted and polished as you would any piece of fine furniture. This will prolong its life and help preserve its beauty. Proper care and use are also essential to preserving your rights under this Warranty. We will not repair or replace your furniture if damage is caused by improper use, by improper maintenance or by improper cleaning. This Warranty does not apply if product damage results from the use of detergents, cleansers, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents on the furniture.

Accidents, Abuse and Normal Wear and Tear

This Warranty does not apply if the inspection reveals that product damage results from abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents, including without limitation burns, cuts, tears, scratches, scuffs, stains and indentations.

Differences from Floor Samples and Literature

Because of the craftsmanship involved in each piece of our furniture, minor variations can occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this Warranty does not cover such minor differences or differences between our brands’ floor samples or printed illustrations and your furniture.

Freight damage

This Warranty does not cover damage cause by common carrier.

Upholstery Exclusion

Since the manufacturers of upholstery fabrics do no guarantee their products for wear ability, colour fastness, fabric shrinkage, wrinkling or stretching, we hence cannot extend a warranty against these usage problems to you.

Foam is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year.

How to make a claim

If you think there is a defect in any of your furniture and you want to make a claim under this Warranty, you must file the claim by filling up the Product defect form Appendix A).Kindly e-mail the form including the proof of date of purchase to: info@commercialfurnishings.net to be followed by phone to the following number: +971-4-296-9070 in order to secure a case number by our customer service department. Our team will arrange for an inspection of your furniture and, if necessary, for the return of the furniture for repair or replacement. After receiving notice of a defect or fault, we will then require a reasonable period of time in which to make the necessary adjustments.

Any transportation, shipping, insurance or other costs involved in delivering warranted furniture back to our facilities due to defects is covered by this Warranty if you paid transportation or shipping charges for the original delivery of the furniture.
